MY MISSION STATEMENT
I am an interactive / product designer. I use my curiosity to challenge overlooked social issues and through design unlocks accessible solutions for future generations to experience.
What's a personal brand and why is it important?
"Your brand is you. It's how others see you". A personal brand is a language used to express who you are as a person and what your work stands for. Your brand identity is a collection of elements, such as visual graphics, social media, signage, emails, websites, presentations, etc. that build on your unique personality. Developing a personal graphic identity is important because it tells your sorry and serves as a powerful first impression. So how do I develop my personal brand?
What’s important to me?
Curiosity – I am a learner. I like to research, discover useful fun facts, and share ideas with others while working. Learning new information is the drive to my creative thinking. If a problem catches my attention, I will spend hours reading and interviewing people to find a solution. I strongly believe that my curiosity drives me to explore different ideas, learn new skills and solve design problems with fresh perspectives.
Challenge – I am analytical. I like to be pushed by hard problems. I am eager to break apart ideas that others take for granted. The world is a big and complex machine. I like to break apart the system and find connecting factors to solve one small problem at the time. dissect it and solve one problem at the time.
Emphatic – I like to talk and connect to problems that other people are experiencing. In order to truly understand an issue, it is important to listen to their needs and putt me in their shoes. I like to think that I go beyond assumptions and traditional connections. I am open to taking in alternative theories as long as they are supported by logic and facts.
Innovation – I am forward-thinking. I believe that a project is never fully completed. With progress, ideas evolve and problems are always in need of a solution. I want to deliver new applications and modernize existing processes.

What do I want my legacy to be?
Use design to solve one problem at the time and help people live in a more connected world.
What makes me feel powerful?
Competition – the world is filled with talented people. I feel most alive when I can improve my performance when competing with someone more knowledgeable than me. I believe that no matter how hard you work, there is always someone better with greater experience. The competition challenges me to tackle new problems and constantly learn from those who are greater than me.
Learning – I love to learn. Whatever the subject or process is, I feel powerful when I am able to learn new information. I work best in a dynamic and fast paste environment. I am more confident after learning a few fun facts regarding an important subject, engage in new skills, and take in different perspectives.
Ideation – I am fascinated by new ideas. I enjoy discovering new problems and developing innovated ideas and experiences. I am fascinated when taking apart complex systems and revealing simple concepts. I am constantly looking for connections and get intrigued when finding unthought connections that provide a logical solution.

What makes me different from other people?
Exploratory – problems are generated because of the clashing of two opposite ideas. I like to think that I am different from others because I enjoy searching for different ideas, acknowledge the different point of views, and open the conversation to fresh perspectives. I believe that my international lifestyle exposed me to different cultures which allowed me to study the world in a more cryptical and logical process. I am open-minded and enjoy discussing a wide range of topics with people who share complete opposite ideas than mine. Only by extending the conversation with a diverse point of view, you are more prone to understand the story as a whole, and therefore reach the route of the issue.

When do I feel most useful?
Problem-solving – my strength lays on using my logic to find the core issue of any problem. I like to value different possibilities, objectively analyze all of the retained information and unlock a unique solution to an issue. Within the design process, I am a great partner to have when confronted with an intellectual challenge. For example, trying to research the core of the problem, truly understanding the user's needs and wants, and developing concrete solutions.

What makes me feel most alive?
New Experiences – my most memorable moments in life are characterized by taking risks, confronting challenges, and achieving new experiences. This can be applied to all aspects of my life, both work and time off. I love pushing my design skills to constantly perform better by tackling new projects, as well as challenging my physical body to climb to the top of a 14th. From achieving new experiences I am able to elevate my performance and develop new skills which will make me appear to be bigger and bolder than before.

If I had an extra hour each day, how would I fill it?
I believe that there is always something new to experience, and there is always a new skill to improve on. If I had an extra hour each day I would fill it in by completing tasks which will bring me closer to complete my goal at the moment. We are living in a fast-paced world which is constantly evolving. Times change and so are my goals. At the moment I would spend the extra hour further building and making my personal brand stronger.
